There are many different ways for leaders to provide support. For example, Andy Grove, the founder of Intel, used to travel with a notebook computer in which he would write up a list of questions he wanted his team to answer. He would then go around the room and ask each person on the team to provide a answer. This gathered everyone together to discuss the issue at hand.
Another way for leaders to provide support is to treasure the expertise of the team members. As leaders, we can ensure that our teams have the resources they need to be successful by ensuring that their experts are respected and consulted.
4.  Hold People Accountable
Good leaders determine the successes of their teams by holding people accountable.
There are many different ways for leaders to hold people accountable. For example, we have found that team members who are publicly recognized as experts are more likely to be successful in their careers. These members feel more ownership in the outcome and are thus more likely to stick with the project.
Another way for leaders to hold people accountable is to set clear expectations. You should define the outcomes you want your team to achieve and make it clear why. Our research shows that leaders who do this are more likely to have teams that are receptive to their direction.
5.  Know Your Team

On the other hand, too much change can be dangerous. It is better to vary the pace at which you change than to stick to a fixed pace. Remember, your team members will be spending more time with you than with anyone else. If you want your team to be successful, then you need to be sure that they are comfortable with the pace of change.
